KCM Australia, a prominent financial services company, recently sponsored a unique and engaging Cantonese event to promote cultural exchanges between China and Australia. The event, amusingly titled "I'm Stupid, I Invite You to Eat Roast Duck," was organized by the Cantonese Students Association of the University of Melbourne on April 6, 2023.
The event aimed to introduce Cantonese cuisine and culture to people from other regions and cultures through fun and interactive games. Attendees were treated to a delightful spread of classic Cantonese dishes, including dim sum, roast meat, and desserts and left the event as Canton gourmet experts!
The event drew many students from the Department of Finance and Economics who were in for a special treat. Jason, the Managing Director of KCM Australia, shared his experience being an overseas student of the University of Melbourne with the attendees, encouraging them to enjoy the academic life and enhancing their future employment opportunities.
